BUY ONE GET ONE FREE BOOK FAIR!
Scholastic Books provide carefully selected books for elementary school children, parents and teachers. All proceeds go to the Library!
The book fair will be open:

Start your day off with a small breakfast after browsing the cases.

Come and enjoy the art & science projects of each and every one of our talented Blue Heron students after filling their summer reading requests at the book fair.
We are looking for help with set up, take down, staffing the various events and running the cash register. If you are interested in helping out in any of these areas please sign up. Our volunteer Coordinators: Denise Berger or Rachel Chiappetta will contact you to schedule your time. The carnival is a fun family event.
We need many hands to help make it a success. You can help us with set up, take down, food service or game room supervision. There will be three shifts: 11:45 - 1:15, 1:15 - 2:45, and 2:45 - 4:15 - but help more or less to fit your schedule. Art Adventures is offered in October and May during the school year. This is a wonderful program and helps fulfill the gap in art at our school. This program is a huge success and the students are very enthusiastic and love this opportunity. The volunteer, called a Picture Person, facilitates the students in a discussion about two pieces of artwork, then leads them in a hands-on project related to the art. Training, planning, and all project materials are provided. May's sessions is titled, "People and Their Environments".
